A few years ago I read Robert Trent Jones, Jr's book Golf by Design: How to Lower Your Score by Reading the Features of a Course.  In that book he suggests that players should create a yardage book for the courses they play most frequently.

Thus began my fascination with golf course design and creating useful yardage guides.

The first yardage guide I created was for ThunderHawk, one of Mr. Jones' courses that is only about 40 miles from my home.

I have decided to post it on this site with a few redactions.

Please let me know if you have any suggestion on how I might improve this and future guides.  As I complete more guides I will post them here.  I currently have 4 other guides in various stages of completion.
